Show New England offers 8u-18u travel baseball teams for dedicated players interested in developing their game. Teams will be based out of the Show New England Baseball and Softball Academy in Peabody, MA or the New Balance Training Facility in Salem, NH. In addition, we will also field advanced elite teams at most age groups. The training season starts in early November each year with two 90-minute practices a week at either of our facilities. Training runs until the start of the competitive season for 8u-14u in April and the start of the high school season for 15-18u. 8u-12u season runs from April to June with 2-4 games on the weekends with 13-14u season going from April into July with 4 games on the weekend. All 8u-14u teams participate in the Select Baseball League as well as playing in outside tournaments during the season. The 15-18u season goes from early June into early August and consists of league play for some teams and regional and national tournaments. Practice for all teams does take place during the season at our facilities and on local fields. In addition, Show New England has program nights throughout the year for practice gear distribution, uniform sizing and handout, and a bat demo event. Show New England is led by founder and Program Director, Steve Lomasney, a former fifth round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox.
